Week 11 – For every action there is an equal reaction of merit

I have noticed this holds true both in the inner world and the outer world. if we hold true to our worthwhile desires the Universe will cause them to happen. One Summer I went to a special camp, for children with learning disabilities. Their assessment, was that I was never going to read for pleasure. When I heard this, I was bound and determined to prove them wrong, and I did! I enjoy reading for pleasure, it is one of my most enjoyable activities. We must learn to cultivate our inner world to listen to are own voice, and give it power it deserves. They never thought I would graduate from University but I did. Oh yes I had some bumps along the road, but did finish with flying colors…… Cultivate your inner world to be your strength and refuge!

Week 10 – Self-awareness is the key.

What is the root of most problems of the human condition? I believe it’s denial, or the lack of strength, to accept the truth, and the courage to do the work to come back into harmony. Sometimes you need take a hard look in the mirror. We all have are moments. We all desire truth, harmony, love, and fullness of life. Are thoughts and the Seven Laws are the pathway to this wonderful journey. We must find strength in these laws, and relationship we have with our family and friends

Part 10.12 It could not be otherwise; if the soul of the Universe as we know it is the Universal Spirit, then the Universe is simply the condition which the Universal Spirit has made for itself. We are simply individualized spirit and are creating the conditions for our growth in exactly the same way.” – Charles F. Haanel

Week 9 – Use the tools

This week we were ask to pick out our favorite flower, and visual it as it grows from a seed, to the beautiful wonder it is. Watering and make sure the soil is fertile and the plant gets enough sun. The seed/flower, only has to be… its already has the “stuff” to succeed. Does the flower “focus on” whether there is enough water, minerals, and sun. No, it just trusts that it will be given. This is the way I need to think, in faith all good things will come to me as I need them.

Affirm the good, and the bad will vanish. – Fredrick Elias.
and
“I am whole, perfect, strong, powerful, loving, harmonious and happy”

What is truth? I believe the definition of truth is that it never contradicts itself, its in harmony with oneself. A simple example of this I think is when I was looking for my first apartment many years ago. After taking a look at one possible location, the apartment manager insisted that she come out to my car to say goodbye. When we got to my car she took a intense look into the car. I asked her why? See replied, if your car is clean, there is a high probability you will keep the apartment clean!

Week 8 – Discover the source

I would like to start out with a quote from Master Key by Charles F. Haanel:

“There is therefore but one law, one principle, on cause, one Source of Power, and good and evil are words which have been coined to indicate the result of our action, or our compliance or non-compliance with this law.”

It is how we use the “Source of Power” which is important. We have been given freedom to choose. Weather or not you believe that Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden existed the story does have much merit. Adam and Eve chose the easy way out, by trying to steal from the tree knowledge, rather than working for it through their own efforts, using discipline, faith, and love- (commitment to the Source). We are all made in the Image and Likeness of God. Do we want to converge and be congruent with the source, or be incongruent, and unfocus, and unwilling to answer the call to personal positive growth? We can all be caught up with the day to day events of the world, and loose track of what are true inner calling is, and in the end be filled with regret. I for one don’t want to go that route. Some say the road to Hell is filled with good intentions or a life not lived to the full. I know this is strong language, but I am reminding myself of the consequences of my own choices, and stay on the tried and true course to positive growth.

Week 7 – The Challenge

This week my old ugly blue-print roared back, and made it’s presence known. But I knew what I had to do – Ignore It – and give it no power or energy! I didn’t realize how cunning it can be, but to focus on where I wanted to go and say to myself “I can be what I will to be!”, read my Blue Print Builder (BPB) and my DMP. The effort to change is worth more than gold, and those index cards really are my best friends. Those cardd kill the doubts and negative thoughts instantly!
